Professor Nick Jones hosted Lt.Col. Dr. Milanko Milojević for four weeks in Nottingham… 2008-12-19

Lt. Col. Milanko Milojević is back in Serbia after a month’s stay at the Queens Medical Centre, University of Nottingham, where he was visiting Professor Nick Jones, Head of the Rhinology unit and widely known and respected specialist in sinus surgery, also author of several key publications and textbooks.

Dr Milojević has taken home very positive impressions, ranging from the warm and cordial welcome he had received up to the great amount of theoretical and practical knowledge he can now implement at the Military Academy Hospital in Beograd. Although he had performed FESS for some time now, he feels much better instructed to meet all eventualities in this field. Further contacts and educational events are planned between the two competence centres. Furthermore, Professor Gerard O’Donoghue, Head of Otology at the QMC has received Doctor Milojević as visitor in the OR for cochlear implant and vestibular schwannoma surgery. The Swiss Society of Friends of ORL has helped mediate the exchange.
