Prominent neurosurgeon Gregory Lekovic, from the House Ear Institute in Los Angeles, lectured at the Military Medical Academy in Beograd on the interdisciplinary surgery of the pontocerebellar angle.

Present were several prominent otologists from Serbia, and the interest in realising contacts with the HEI, one of the leading institutions in the US, was great.
